Evaluating our attitude toward engaged couples.

Clergy and Sponsor Couples are wise to listen to those who represent the best of our Catholic tradition in ministering to others. Both clergy and sponsor couples are placed in positions of "power" and there is always the danger of being tempted to use "power" over others. Jesus had to remind his chosen disciples about this when James and John made an effort to gain positions of power next to Jesus when he said, "Anyone among you who aspires to greatness must serve the rest....."
