For Covenant (Secular edition)

In order to create a Secular (not faith based) edition of For Better & For Ever we were fortunate to collaborate with marriage educators and government employees who helped us identify the content that had to be removed so we could produce a product that can help couples who are committed to establishing and sustaining life long marriage. We named it the Covenant edition because this is the word that in being use in some states of USA to define a legal civil marriage that is intended to be a life long commitment. This civil Covenant marriage does not assume or deny the couple has a faith commitment....it is a strictly secular reality.

Marriage Preparation Resources created the Covenant edition for two reasons:

1 - The Covenant edition can be purchased with government/state funds which is a critical factor for US military chaplains and social service agencies.

2 - Some couples prefer to buy/use this edition.

At the same time, we want to make sure that couples using the Covenant edition are able to access the faith material that removed from the faith based editions if they want to explore it.......see the links below:
