I wrote this at the request of Conference Committee of the National Association of Catholic Family Life Ministers (NACFLM) for a Workshop Presentation at their conference in St. Paul MN in June 2009. I consulted with a number of clergy and lay leaders whom I consider well informed in the field of marriage preparation in an effort to incorporate the "best thinking" about this challenging area of ministry. I welcome the feedback of anyone who reads this material because I see this as a "working document" that is open to additions and improvements........I updated this April 24, 2010
